An organisation built for the day after the return
The Global Human Capital Reinsertion Initiative is a non-profit foundation established on a single conviction: a person who has spent years working, learning and enduring is not a case number. They are capital — and a return, properly supported, is not a defeat but a beginning.
We treat immigrants as human capital, not numbers. Our voluntary self-repatriation programme gives people who choose to go home what they need to succeed there: certified skills, relocation with dignity, housing help, a personal coach, a coordinator on the ground and startup capital through a revolving fund. Returnees repay their initial loans, create jobs and wealth at home, reduce future migration pressure and avoid recruitment by criminal networks — reverse immigration where everyone wins.
What we do
Six commitments, delivered as one continuous process.
We certify what you already know
Years of construction, kitchens, logistics or care become recognised credentials and a written business plan — assets a lender, a customer and a ministry can all read.
We prepare the arrival
Travel, temporary housing, documents, a bank account, and a coordinator waiting on the ground. The first ninety days decide everything, so they are what we prepare hardest.
We provide the capital
A startup micro-loan, repaid as the enterprise grows — and every repayment finances the next participant. Capital that circulates rather than expires.
We accompany the transition
Four weeks of coaching at no cost on arrival, delivered by returnees and local entrepreneurs who have already walked the road, with continuation entirely by choice.
We build enterprises, not solitary ventures
Participants are grouped by trade and launch together — shared capital, shared customers, shared guarantee. Five builders as one firm, rather than five people alone.
We open the network
Returnees and business leaders across every continent who supply, mentor, buy and open doors — so an enterprise begins inside a network rather than outside one.

A return should be a launch — not a return to square one
Nobody who left a region with too little opportunity wants to come back to subsistence farming or a job that leads nowhere — the very things that made them leave. What a returnee brings home, and what the home country needs most, is what the industrial world taught them: how to run a processing plant, a fish farm, a modern shop, a building crew. Add capital to that know-how and the region's own raw materials become finished products for the local market and for export — jobs, value and wealth that stay at home. Every developed nation grew this way. We help returnees do the same, one enterprise at a time.
Solve it at the sourceWhat distinguishes us
We hold profound respect for the organisations working in this field, and we refer people to them without hesitation where they are the better fit. Our emphasis differs in five respects.
| Conventional return assistance | The GHCRI approach |
|---|---|
| Support concludes shortly after arrival | Accompaniment continues through the first enterprise, the first employee and the repaid loan |
| A grant, disbursed once | A revolving fund: repayment finances the next participant, indefinitely |
| Individuals establish businesses alone | Cohorts register together as cooperatives, sharing capital, customers and guarantee |
| Counselling by professionals | Coaching by returnees and local entrepreneurs who have done it, with professional referral when required |
| Results reported selectively | Commitments published in advance and results beside them quarterly — including our shortfalls |
What this means for you
If you are weighing your own decision, this is what the programme offers.
You may explore without identifying yourself
No name, no account, no tracking. Nothing is required of you until you decide otherwise, and nothing you do here is shared with enforcement authorities.
You are advised to consult an attorney first
We ask every person to speak with qualified immigration counsel before deciding anything, and we help you find free assistance. Many discover options they did not know they had.
You return with means, not empty-handed
A certification, a plan, capital, a coach, a cohort and a coordinator — so that what awaits you is an enterprise to build rather than a life to restart alone.
A setback is not the end
Should an enterprise falter, we review, restructure and support a second attempt. No participant is abandoned for a single difficult season.
Leadership & governance
GHCRI is founder-led and being built with a founding board, an immigration attorney advising, coaches, and coordinators on the ground. We are recruiting founding volunteers now — they receive first consideration for paid roles when funding arrives. Executive roles are appointed as funding is secured.
Founding board
Governance, safeguarding and financial oversight of the revolving fund.
Legal advisory
An immigration attorney advises on every participant-facing commitment.
Field leadership
Coordinators in the U.S. and in home countries, coaches, and alumni.

Every person is capital. This is how a return becomes a rise.
